listen: Kidkanevil, “Coin Game ft Nakamura Minami”

Cuusheとのコラボレーションや、Noahとのユニットnemui pjなどのコラボレーションでも知られる、イギリスのエレクトロニックプロデューサー、Kidkanevilが新作アルバム『BUBBLE』を発表。その中からNakamura Minamiをフィーチャーした新曲”Coin Game”がミュージックビデオをとともに公開されています。

ミュージックビデオを手掛けたのはRUFFMERCYとTAKKOM。個人的に二人の映像作品のファンなので、本当に興奮しました。トラックも前作『My Little Ghost』のサウンドをさらに深化させたkawaii +ノスタルジックなビートで、ラッパーとの相性も抜群。フルでアルバムを聴くのが楽しみです。

An English producer, known for their collaborations with artists like Cuushe, Noah and M.I.A., Kidkanevil is set to release their new album “BUBBLE” from their own imprint Studio Gsan on June 24, in collaboration with First Word Records. Listen to the first single “Coin Game” featuring a Japanese hip-hop artist, Nakamura Minami.

The music video is produced by two of my personal favourites RUFFMERCY and TAKKOM. I’ve been a fan of them for a long time so it really did make my heart warm up. Kidkanevil’s iconic kawaii nostalgic sounds are crisp and as ever, blending extremely well with the rapper’s laidback .
