watch: Braids, “Evolution”

カナダのエクスペリメンタルポップグループ、Braidsが新作アルバム『Euphoric Recall』を4月28日にリリース。先行シングル”Evolution”がミュージックビデオと共に公開されています。

今作のテーマはLOVE （愛）。シンセサイザーを軸にした打ち込み音楽にも関わらず、そのサウンドは自然でオーガニックな響きです。何度もリピートしたくなるような中毒性を持ったポップソングに仕上がっています。

Whenever Braids drops a single, my hearts jumps up a little with excitement. The Canadian experimental pop trio has never released anything boring or mediocre, and their new single “Evolution” from their upcoming album Euphoric Recall is just a fantastic return.

Free of agenda and strategy to make a new album, the trio decided to tack on the theme of love. “Evolution: fits the brief perfectly. It’s calm and intimate, decorated in pulsating beat, warm pads and vocals are beautifully restrained.
